OUR ENERGY SUCCESSES
The Chesterfield Energy Reliability Center
The Chesterfield Energy Reliability Center is a proposed natural gas power station that will generate 1,000 megawatts of new, reliable energy for Virginia homes and businesses during periods of high demand. It will provide backup power on the hottest and coldest days of the year, ensuring reliable energy when needed most. This project will help modernize Virginia’s power grid as renewables and battery storage expand, supporting a reliable grid, preventing outages, and aiding the state's clean energy transition.
